Each COD game released annually is created by a different studio that they"paid" for. Thus the shxtty quantity of microtransactions they force in their participant.2K on the other hand employs the same game then just add new features by simply tweaking some of these codes from the previous game, release it as a $60 game then take it a day.

Since 2k is trying to finesse ppl to spend additional money for a game that is gonna be the same as 2k20... I would rather stick wit my elite 2k20 account another gen with gym rat and all my maxed builds rather than start over at rookie for 4 weeks and then simply start at rookie on next gen lol. Also maybe when they see their earnings are shit they will fix up (even tho this won't be the case cuZ many ppl will still buy it), but unless they do something drastic I'm not paying extra for a match I will barely even play for a few months after I have pretty much the Specific same game
The dearth of new ports, choices, and construct design are my qualms. I do not care too much the way the game appears graphically. I want new menus, interfaces, build options, better gameplay... that kinda thing. Take out expert 2 spam, place scoring cheese on 100% contested shots, godly screens where pickdodger does nothing. So many simple things could be added and removed to impress me but nope.
They aren't releasing any news about the other modes. If they are ready, they would have teased them months prior to not two weeks before the Buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins games release.What's the purpose of calling them out after the games release anyhow? EA found an excuse to buy time to polish a turd. They can claim to be progressive as they need, but Mut 21 coins their internal work culture is totally cut-throat, betray your very best buddy for a bonus along with a sports car, internally sabotage your rivals job, kinda culture. It is actually pretty popular in Brazil, especially on TV, in regard to ratings it obviously loses out to soccer by a fairly wide margin, but I would say it's on par with the NBA, Tennis and Formula 1 . I imagine they sent media coverage stuff to various books in preparation of launch that trailer, and instead they are probably spending a lot of time sending emails to state they're delaying it. Edit: Seeing a lot of opinions that are such as: Well they are doing nothing. To that, I'll just answer, they could still be doing less by just softly pushing back any proposed trailer reveals, which this remains a company twitter which means somebody had to find the tweet accepted on some level, which means someone did something. It's not a great deal, but ... Nevertheless something.
They're like, not doing anything. Some art guy somewhere spent 15 minutes placing platitudes onto a black backdrop and they tweeted out it. I have noticed a dozen of these already and it is about as useful as putting about the rainbow icons for pleasure. It's promotion during a tragedy by trying to seem shaky. Perhaps, but I still think it's something.

Both of these gave me jaw-dropping service in contrast to Runescape. So I do not Be Concerned about EVE or WoW surviving. "Because it's demonstrated to work" MMOs are 15 years old. That is not much time to already have conventional panaceas.
What Jagex is doing is going for the easy cash. SoF is unregulated gaming in a match that has addictive properties, it's a natural match. Is it a long term one? Nope. For two reasons, players will get sick of this, and also the legislation lags behind, but will catch up when politicians know there is tax money to be produced. Japan went through this lately, they regulated their social games that comprised some gambling, and the game companies mostly shut down. Because by that time they didn't care about the sport, only the money.
If Jagex had requested players around EoC we'd have probably got double wielding, the ability things like emotes and item dropping and a slower development from that point. If whatsoever.
