Vinyl is like owning a library of books. it's a bit showy and pretentious some think, but it's old school and decorates a room nicely. just like having oil paintings on the wall over owning them on a tablet. or anything else that Steve Jobs help place us into an empty-sterile white room environment. like in some sci-fi dystopian film.
Do you want to have a room take up space by decorating it with shelving of Albums or are you limited on space? some people still like the drag affect of vinyl. it's nostalgic to them. but maybe not to someone as young as you OPie.
I like to just place an old album on a turntable and listen to the slight scratches of yesteryear sound but overall I prefer options. -

He can however just readjust his positioning a bit. it might take 2-3 years. he already knows the basic fundamentals of Jazz Style (Which is the most complex of all music genres) hell it might even give him an edge of being slightly off kiltered. he might get hooked on heroin and start looking more OG with a tall enhancemented tip stogie and some ray bans for the light that bothers his heroin induced eyes and a cool Barett style cap. …not sure how being punched in the face and body prevents you from ever playing the Piano again.
he has a broken collar bone. but still. at least he got 141k to sit back and work re syncing his movements to his new adjusted collar bone position. not sure if he'll get surgery or not. if his muscles or tendants were torn, I could see a major problem. a collar bone is maybe 4-6 months before the pain starts to reduce.
In a dark sense of humor of it all, maybe he'll get hooked on Opiods and become an OG at Jazz. -
