I want to say "Can never go wrong living in Cali" but that is an old phrase now. everything is wrong here. Fucking Nanny state. Half foot in. Let the Giant Salesforce building be built but we only want half the skyline as International Cities because we're also a Bedroom City. Close bars earlier and earlier. No break for fines and permit cost so that old establishments that are 3rd-4th generation are closing. one after another. closed closed closed. Not temporarily but for good.
We should have a Skyline built that would put NYC Skyline to shame by now If I was in charge of planning. Only I would Make sure multiple Building inspections would be done. Overkill on the "Dig into the bedrock so the building doesn't fall over in an earthquake" kind of thing.
and whoever puts up a building has to repair the roads as well. just leaving big shit potholes for the tax payers to pay for.
and widen the fucking freeways. and improve the transportaion system. and allow Elon Musk to build his tunnel systems around the city waterfront over to the Golden Gate bridge. Maybe Build a second Golden Gate Bridge to have twice the lanes.
No one is getting rid of the population problem by thinking less is better. -

I could see the screws on the panel. tap screws maybe so they can't be reversed with a screwdriver but a pressure driver with a reverse bit. obviously someone needs to go down there with a set and take the panel off to see what's inside. I mean seriously.. what if its really advance Doppler or something to monitor shit for the Russians. could be communicating with a satellite. -

I will say you're right about maybe using a laptop patch works system of sound patches and use a control board but its always nice to have an old school analog emulator mixed in. I would create sort of a better string sound by mixing a horn instrument like a french horn with a warm pad and maybe a single violin to create a quad string of instruments. it has a fool orchestra sound of strings with my analog Roland Juno bank of preset-sounds.

I live about 7 blocks up the hill from Gilman 924 in Berkeley. lots of bands from the 80s and 90s came out of there. You have like 5 or 6 types
1: SINE
2: Pulse
3: Box
4: Sawtooth
5: Cycle
each one works differently. most work with sustain but I think sawtooth is a quick attack type and you will need a f'ilter addon to have sustain or reverb to it.
it would be less frustrating if you understand the way each one works. of course SINE is a sound that will come in and out. you time it with attack to sync up with other sounds box works best with the modifier change outs.
I havn't played my rolands in a long time to remember which works how but you should try and understand each wave format.
