2020-01-04 at 4:34 PM UTC in Lourdes' first album was so far ahead of it's timeHer first album, perfectly titled "Pure Heroin" was a 2013 album that listens like a 2019 album. Case in point, all but 2 of the songs "royals" and "team", which were instant hits, never got any airplay on the radio. Fast forward 6 years later and all the sudden I hear a bunch of lorde songs from her first album that aren't "team" and "royals" in the bars and eateries in the gentrified parts of the city.
Her 2nd album isn't very good, so we won't worry about that. There's like 2 good songs at most so it's kind of a flop and I think she might end up being a one-and-done because she got weirder as she grew up and seems kind of cluster B/bipolar.
Anyway I'm not sure exactly why it took so long for the rest of her album to bust out, and part of it's probably because in general people like a couple songs to listen to a lot on the radio or whatever a whole bunch of times while the rest come out slowly, but not like this. Not a 6 year latency and then boom, everything else a whole bunch.
Pure Heroin had a lot going stylistically that really pioneered what we listen to today in 2019-2020 basically verbatim.. it's all right there and always has been. Go back and listen to it, that is a straight up soundcloud album, which is what everything today is. The beats she used are exactly what today's hiphop and increasingly pop (billie, every gen Z rapper, etc.) uses, as well as minimialism and dream style (lana, billie).The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

i called my doctor this morning asking if she still wanted to put me on naltrexone but she was busy.. then she called me like 5 minutes after i ate a wheede gummy asking me to come in and pop a UAy... im completely clean from everything else rn though is the thing, and had no wheede in my system either. i could tell she was kinda pissed that my neuro is keeping me on max dose ROGABBARDZORZ even though I made her put me on it to be begin with lol cos in her voicemail she went

well now i pretty much have to change my mind and tell her i dont want it (again) which will look suspicious (again) but the only reason i was asking about it was because she told me i have to try naltrexone before i can do suboxone.. but to be honest i dont want to do either one anymore. suboxone sounds appealing at first but those clinics are a nightmare i imagine and i have to cut back my gabbz some. im not welfare'd enough to have time or desire to go into the clinic for an hour a day to get my subs that i dont really want in the first place. Also i only imagine they do frequent drug testing there which would probably be a good thing tbqh but seriously fuck suboxone. I want it but I don't.
the Crouton is more expensive and definitely weaker (not that that's a bad thing), and it has naltrexone built into it if you take enough which is kind of neat. The more you take the less drugs you desire because it puts you in a headspace that feels dysphoric yet anti-addictive, but unlike naltrexone and suboxone you can still get high on other opiates which makes it better than those govt cuck drugs. pills are gay, the only opiates anyone should do are Crouton and morphine

I hit somebody without insurance because I thought I was given a commercial endorsement thru my employer but I'm not so I might be going bankrupt anyway lol, but I need some a vehicle and I'm leaning towards a truck because I tried driving a couple civics and they just cannot handle these winters and god-awful roads that blow up and never get fixed.
Pickups are expensive as hell, but if I can get an S10 4WD that would be great. Honestly I would trust like a 2004 S10 more than my freakin 2009 Civic cuz those cars are just not built to hold up. Or I could go with a small SUV but eehhhhh I don't like those near as much.
