Trump got even less votes than Mitt Romney when he lost to Obama. But Hillary got way way way less votes than Obama.
Trump winning was a hugely contingent event. Slightly less shitty rust belt strategy = Trump loses. DNC leadership not stubbornly trying to shoehorn in a female president despite being the worst possible candidate = Trump loses.
A huge amount of democrats fucking hated Hillary out of all the candidates and just voted against Trump rather than for her, "lesser of two evils" and all that. There was no turnout for literally that reason. It was by no actual success of the Trump campaign or Republican party. Donald J Kidfucker basically won by default.

And Democrats on Tuesday notched big wins in those regions.

Incident 2: Terrorist plot foiled by passenger on EndLiner Green-Train 1. After his personal minecart unexpectedly came to a stop on Green-1 track section, the rider ( who is not being identified at this time ) observed that his current track section had lost power. He then observed the power switch for this track section was in the OFF-position and called for an EndLiner track safety officer ( Operator available 24hrs: 937 522 1751 ). A trouble team was dispatched and arrived within about 13 minutes to the scene, moved the passenger on his way in a powered cart and closed the line for troubleshooting. While investigating this outage the crew uncovered this booby-trap;
It is important to note that the passenger who called the track safety office made the right decision to NOT take matters into their own hand and simply turn the power switch to this section back on as it would have detonated the trap, almost certainly resulting in his death. Please keep in mind that all EndLiner stations offer complimentary EnderChests to safely stow your belongings during transit. Two suspects have been identified in this terror plot and their names are not currently being released. EndLiner track safety officials assisted the Monolip Minister of Agriculture's EOD team during a forensic dismantling of this trap. On-scene investigation is wrapping up with the track expected to re-open by end of day.
Please remember to follow this example and call track-safety before taking matters into your own hands! Also you are urged to stow your valuable items before taking a trip on these remote track sections, the hero of this story had many enchanted items in his posession that would have been lost forever had he simply thrown the switch back on. REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY ON THE TRACK OR NEAR STATIONS TO THE APPROPRIATE TRACK SAFETY TEAM!

"The worst," he reiterated. "The last cigarette of the day is truly a dreaded thing. It's the tired cap to yet another night on this awful fucking planet. But the first? The first cigarette has hope. You can step outside and think of things like: 'Maybe it'll get better today. Maybe today I'll quit smoking. Maybe today I'll meet the girl of my dreams'. The last cigarette has no maybes. It's cold and dark and depressing, and there's no hope of quitting with it. There's no hope of anything."
"Yeah, okay," Sudo said. His face flickered with orange as Wren struggled to light another cigarette. They had been smoking all night.
"The second is alright though. Third one too. It's just that last one I don't like." Wren stared down at the floor. A cat meowed in the distance. "Hey, can you pass me another beer?"
"Sure."
The two sat for some time, contemplating which cigarette of the night would be their last. Wren hoped to at least get another five in.
"Hey I think it's happening," Sudo said. "Look."
Wren half-sat out of his chair, glancing briefly at the sky beyond the window. "Oh yeah, it's happening alright. Pass me the lighter would you?"
"How long do you think it's going to take?"
"I don't know."
"Really though, how long?" Sudo asked. "An hour, two?" The sky was quickly turning to a vibrant yellow. Wren stood up to close the curtain.
"I think less than that. Maybe just a few more lines of dialogue. I was watching the news this morning and they said it could be a matter of seconds."
"Oh. Okay." The thought of having a beer passed briefly through Sudo's head, but he had already decided that he wouldn't. It was best to stay in Allah's good graces during these final moments.
"So is there anything you want to talk about? Anything at all?" Sudo wiped the sweat from his brow. The room was getting hotter.
"No," Wren said, taking a long pull from his diminishing cigarette. "I think this is it though."
"Is it?"
"Yeah," he said, scratching at his beard. "Well, no. One more. I'll have one more. You have that lighter again?"
"Sure man. Anything." Sudo handed over the lighter, wishing it was a BIC. Why hadn't they gotten a BIC?
