No retard. Read what I wrote. They are removing the criminal penalty for the act of crossing the border illegally. Meaning they will just be deported without being prosecuted here. How about we not make them our problem? And just kick their ass back to their country and make it their problem.
Maybe I'm misinterpreting your link, but it certainly looks like the increased prosecution under the Bush admi istration, step up in border patrol and the hardline stance not only DRASTICALLY lowered the amount of apprehensions, but increased the number of people moving through legal channels. Hmmm.
