There was one game I truly loved (well two) but it's hell of old.
BF42 and BF Vietnam. BF2142 sucks balls. I know the newest one is free online (just a level or two) but BF42 was just hilarious as all fuck. especially the mod patches of playing flag games while riding on the wings of a comrade in which he would swoop down flying the plane and you snatched it off the ground.
I would probably jump in that game but havn't played it in 10 plus years. I was bandit faction all along since day one, everyone was being nice so I waited until I was the only one online and stole from everyone, all the gunpowder and I built bandit tower with the help of everyones material. I wrecked my own stuff to throw off the trail and I blew up retard tower.
Also there is a platforming puzzle in bandit tower, spent hours on it just randomly had the idea. It's really simple probably takes 10 seconds to figure out and there isn't a reward but I thought it was cool making a path to the top of the tower and trying to hide it
I was gonna make a really cool spawn area where you could solve a puzzle to get some cool starting gear
I guess I'll just get drunk and blow everything to the bedrock and start monolith faction again... Sigh..

politically it's always been to protect state power, but prior to 2001 it at least had a coherent meaning.

It was enough of a joke when they labeled Hezbullah terrorists because they had the gall to defend Lebanon against israel, designated an entire arm of the Iranian military terrorists to justify economic sanctions and quite literally claimed "one instance of chemical warfare doesn't necessarily make them terrorists" (see - Mark Toner) when their directly-supported Jihadis (Al-Zinki) in Syria were caught blasting towns with chlorine mortars.
