What we do ask is if they plan on living in the USA to try and learn the language. if they need to make contact to the public .. especially in an emergency. I have a couple things lined up in priority (with my mom being sick and going to an elderly home as well) but I am planning on joining an online site to learn Spanish and pay for the lessons. it seemed to be working for me. Rosetta Stone is so fucking expensive. Then comes French (because it should be easier after Spanish) then maybe Manderin (Insanely hard) and Russian.
your already at the dusk of your life, no point learning another language, almost all of the things in life thats worth to be said and ought to be said you said them already and the acquisitions of new languages wouldnt give you another chance to utter them.
