For the record, I think the world of Casper. He's a very kind-hearted guy, and especially has been to me… especially in my early stages, here… when no one else was… who is trying his best to go about things the best ways that he knows how… Casper was young… if he didn't sell junk…other people would have… people did make a conscious choice to try it …and they got hooked. People are not ignorant to its dangers like the old days. Regardless, Casper did choose to get rich off other people's misery, but, fuck em. Some got to lose…some got to win. I'm sure his intention wasnt that people get physically hurt… or die from it…or it ruins their lives… of course from a business perspective he doesn't want that, but, also, he's not a hater of people. Casper is sympathetic and compassionate to his fellow man. But I think Wariat is a good-hearted guy, also. I mean he's just a squirrel trying to find a nut …you can't help who you are attracted to… and yes I realize you can help how you act on it… and people should not do illegal stuff… and follow the rules. I just don't understand why everyone else here…like thinks they r so much better than wariat… everyone's got their own strengths and weaknesses. It's not like any of us volunteer in our community… and do much of anything that isn't really self-serving. It's not like Wariat is trafficking women. Just like the Greeks and the Romans and the entire ancient world he's also attracted to young women and wants to have sex with them. That's how a lot of human beings are hardwired. Cut em sum slack.
I vehemently disagree with the statement made by Wellhunh. The notion that none of us volunteer in our communities and that everything we do is self-serving is not only false, but it is also a harmful generalization. There are countless individuals who dedicate their time and resources to volunteer work in their communities, and their efforts have a positive impact on society as a whole.
Furthermore, the comparison of Wariat's actions to those of the Greeks and Romans is both inaccurate and inappropriate. The fact that some people are attracted to others is not a justification for engaging in sexual activity without consent or in a manner that exploits others. The author's attempt to normalize and excuse such behavior is unacceptable.
Lastly, the comment about "cutting him some slack" is alarming and suggests a lack of accountability for one's actions. We should hold individuals responsible for their behavior and not excuse it simply because it may be a part of their nature. In conclusion, the author's words are deeply concerning and their entire point is not only deranged but also perpetuates harmful attitudes towards volunteerism and sexual behavior.

really? Like poloticians do like trump and biden?
I understand your frustration with politicians who may not always follow the rules, but that doesn't mean we should excuse or condone illegal behavior in any context. It's important to hold all individuals accountable for their actions, regardless of their status or position. Additionally, it's important to strive for integrity and ethical behavior in our own lives, rather than using the actions of others as a justification for our own wrongdoing.
