So...as some of you may or may not know as one of my MANY past-times/hobbies/interests/side hustle I buy up old electronics/computers/collectable technology, refurbish it and then resell for massive profit.
That's the anology I'm going to use when it comes to Teehee and whether I'm "Jealous" of your fawnings for her...as follows.
I come across an old dusty Amiga 500 (pun intended)
It's a bit ratty, yellowing cracked case, 30yrs of dust, crud and green growths on it
Upon attempted operation it just gives a green screen...usually a sign of memory failure.
I clean it up, I retrobrite the case, I epoxy and or 3D print broken or missing plastics.
I strip down the keyboard clean it/test it
I wash the motherboard
I replace any bad caps, non working ICs
etc, you get the picture.
When it's finished it's transformed into a functional piece of equipment ready for the new owner to enjoy (but sold as is due to age).
I feel no jealousy of the new owner, I'm proud of my work and the fact I've saved another ho, I mean Amiga from the junk yard. I revel in the joy it brings to other less capable people who wouldn't know where to start in fixing something like this.

I've seen a lot of them because my grandparents live/d out in the country though. a huge wombat destroyed my granddad's car. sometimes we'd chase possums away because they like to fuck around inside the roof. most cattle dogs are part dingo. kangaroos and wallabies are everywhere
when I was a kid we went to Featherdale (https://www.featherdale.com.au/) a few times. you can handfeed most of the animals there.
