It does tho. Most of the bond debt the govt operates on also comes from US citizens so it is the same thing.
As long as you can service your debt, you can borrow whatever you want. That's the "base". That will never change either, even if the US economy was in a perfect state, the US govt would still operate at full leverage because the point is to encourage growth. The US govt will never and doesn't want to be revenue positive, it would represent leaving money on the table. -

Long excursions with long hours, demanding work with a lot of accountability, stupid managers.
Pay was great, job was shit, made me decide to get in a position to never work for anyone but myself ever again. -

when your "country" is spending more than the sum total of taxes it collects there cease to be such thing as "tax payer" dollars.
the "tax payers" pay a racketeers' fee so that the government doesnt molest them. these money are and will be lost in circulation.
the actual money that the US government spends or send to foreign governments comes from someone punching numbers into a keyboard.
It's all leveraged against US tax revenue so it doesn't make a difference, it's still US taxpayers paying for everything. -

Unfortunately currently Linux support is complete dogshit on Apple Silicon even via Parallels.
There is Asahi, which apparently does not have multi monitor support and audio so haven't even bother unless it's in a usable state.
