Chinese property giant Evergrande is on the brink of collapse, and analysts warn the potential fallout could have far-reaching implications that spill outside China’s borders.
… The world’s most indebted property developer has been scrambling to pay its suppliers, and warned investors twice in as many weeks that it could default on its debts.
On Tuesday, Evergrande said its property sales will likely continue to drop significantly in September after declining for months, making its cash flow situation even more dire.
The Chinese developer is so huge that the fallout from a potential failure could hurt not only the Chinese economy, but spread to markets beyond.
Banks have also responded to its deteriorating cash flow. Some in Hong Kong, including HSBC and Standard Chartered, have declined to extend new loans to buyers of two uncompleted Evergrande residential projects, said Reuters.
In most of the world people who want to make quick money buy an apartment off the plans - so you pay now, and then in 5 years or so you get a new apartment in a new building. Everyone does this in Russia and Chiner.
Evergrande is just the Lehman Brothers of Chiner, the real problem is that now faith in the system has been destroyed, and people won't be investing in Chinese property so extravagantly. The Bat-Soup-Bandits have a huge property bubble going on, the biggest in the world. All this shit is an order of magnitude bigger than the American property bubble collapse in 2008.

Having a great valentines day in Kyiv. Irish news were beside the Ryanair desk and wanted to interview me when they seen the Kyiv tag on my luggage, but I was still hazy as it was 6:30am in the morning and I just said no. I should have said something like "it's not happening, but even if it was I'd go anyway", but that's just l'esprit d'escalier.
Groceries has some bug that could be omicron, we went to a restaurant, then shopping. I offered to buy her an iPhone but she said no, she said she wanted an iPhone before but decided they were a waste of money, I am proud of her for that. We went clothes shopping and got some groceries. Having some wine and food in a nice airbnb apartment.

It's now official that Putin will be invading Ukraine on Monday. Brandon just called me, and he's worried. We need warm bodies for front line service. If you can do 20 pushups or walk 5 miles unassisted, then that is a bonus, but honestly it doesn't matter. We desperately need to get meat on the line. Please post in this thread to volunteer for service in the Ukraine. You can post any special skills you might have, but honestly it doesn't matter, we only need grunts for frontline service. So long as you have a body temperature warm enough to show up on an ex-soviet infrared scope that is all we need.

Bamberg - With the imposition of a high youth penalty, the trial of a murderous sex date near Ebermannstadt came to an end on Wednesday before the district court in Bamberg after five days of negotiations. With the sentence, the court stayed only slightly below the request of senior public prosecutor (((Michael Hoffmann))), who had asked for twelve years and six months.
Defender Thomas Drehsen had applied for a youth sentence of eight years. At the same time, the court determined the particular gravity of the guilt. The judges thus created the conditions for the sentence to go beyond the maximum limit of ten years applicable in juvenile criminal law.
This is also necessary in order to do justice to the particular gravity of the crime, said presiding judge Manfred Schmidt. He certified that the convict had meticulously planned her crime for days. In addition to the cold-blooded approach, there is a "complete lack of empathy" for their victim. The chairman of the criminal court appealed to Sarah M. to use the opportunities offered there in order to be able to participate in life in society again at some point. She will finish her school career there and start vocational training. But she will only be able to do this if she gives up the attitude of denial shown in the trial in order to deal with her guilt.
Sarah M. herself accepted the verdict unmoved on the outside.
I came close to dying a couple of times, the biggest time from from cancer, so I have a good sense of my mortality and wasn't afraid of dying from the coof.
I definitely lost all respect I may have had for the Catholic church though. When the coof hit they reacted disgracefully, closing churches and stopping masses, weddings and funerals.
Also in summer 2020 BLM hit, and the Pope, who likes touching and feeling black people's feet, reacted like the jedi turbo cuck he is and blamed all black people's problems on white people. The whole thing was disgusting - the whole Catholic church seems determined to drive away as many people as possible by being as disgusting as possible.
