personally I think the constitution is well written.

our freedoms and rights were not just for us but that we are to cherish & uphold those same freedoms and rights of others.
upholding the same freedoms and rights of others is as important as your own rights because if theirs can be taken so can yours.

the problem today is there are people all about their freedoms and rights that they think it gives them the right to put their rights above the same freedoms and rights of others. it doesn't. some will go as far as to use those rights in an attempt to abuse the rights of others and trying to change the constitution or say it means something other than it's been written.

since trumps campaign the whole country seems to be in disarray. it's been pretty hard to ignore. so I began doing enormous amounts of research not just on trump and his background but on the federal budget proposals, the tax breaks, bills being passed, immigration and more than I've ever wanted to know about any of it especially trump & politicians.
people that elected him don't seem to realize the long term consequences of his actions and his presidency.

donald trump is inflicting wounds on this nation that may, in fact, never heal. republicans who have enabled him in that endeavor, at the local, state and national levels, are unlikely to be looked kindly on by history.

I have found no words that better sum up what has happened to our country and the republican party since donald trump took the stage than those spoken by maine republican senator margaret chase smith back in 1951.

maybe you could have used a different example if your intention wasn't to imply that mental illness is nothing and there's free money in it. it doesn't work like that. approximately 58% of the people in the U.S. have untreated mental illnesses and the number is steady rising. it's a real struggle for lots of them. young people are dying at a rapid rate. they're suffering, some just off themselves, some become homeless, some try to self medicate and become addicts etc.

making stereotyped remarks or statements like 💲1,000 for nothing is cruel.
there isn't enough awareness about it as it is. backward statements just keep the uninformed unaware or more people would find help, mental illness wouldn't keep rising, and less young people would be dying.

lolz my first thought was how did that happen but I don't want to know. it isn't for me to say what you should do in your home.
at my house tweakers aren't welcomed and get the boot out the door. I don't tolerate them even if they've been friends.
if they want to stay high all the time it's their business but they'll have to do it some where else that's not in my home.

do you know anybody that's schizophrenic? I do. I don't ever see him managing a normal life. he's a very kind individual. but from one minute to the next he's fine or the world or somebody is out to get or hurt him. he's not about violence. he's a big guy that can definitely handle himself but with schizophrenia it's hard for him to know what's what.
it's sad because he's a very likable peacemaker type that spends most of his time completely withdrawn from society.

you missed the whole point that many people of religious faith do. and it's why religion is such a mess now and why so much harm has been done in Gods name when God didn't have anything to do with it. people misinterpreting the bible into stuff like my God is better than your God and or yours is wrong. wars have been been started over it.

people of different religious faiths have a different description or a definition of the same dude, God even if their understand of God is as simply a oneness of the balance between harmony & chaos in the universe.

it is personal spiritual relationship between "you" and God. period. he is "your" judge & jury and theirs but it's not your place to condemn them.
nowhere in the bible does it say you have the authority to judge or condemn anybody. no where in the bible does it say spreading the word means go out, cram it down other peoples throats or force them to do as you do. nowhere in there does it say my God is better than your God.

it simply states there is only "one" God. and there are false Gods. follow yours and not the false ones.

if more people were minding their own peas and Qs there'd be more people looking inside their own faults more often then the faults of others, knowing we are not perfect and trying their best through meditation & prayer to learn be cool to each other spite our imperfections. there wouldn't be as many people hating on us for the misrepresented & misguided versions of what love one another means.
