I mean the scene in Skyrim where you see Whiterun for the first time, or when Michael or Trevor get introduced in GTA 5 are the greatest. -

there doesn't appear to be any source of power besides that button cell and you're right, that's what I meant - not enough power to sufficiently heat that coil, especially since it's so unnecessarily long
Maybe that's just spare wire though, since he was going with a weird design where he was putting one wire through each side of the pipe.
Though I notice how he uses different gagues of wire for different bits, like the big, thick, dramatic looking black and red wires on the outside.
It's like a movie prop more than anything. -

Button cell batteries don't produce any appreciable heat by themselves, you can try with one and a piece of wire if you don't believe me - it won't do anything. -
