i opted to ignore this huge red flag a few months ago to see where it would go. it ended with him threatening to come after me. he was able to get me, an incredibly paranoid adult, to ignore my gut instinct and let him get close to me. imagine what hes capable of doing to a child. really fucking scary.

not really. combat training involves a lot of things. psychologycal, mental, tactical, motivational, etc etc.
video games teaches players what to do in a specific set of situation and familiarize them to shooting environment, its like how SWATs study buildingc floorplans before charging into a building.
and how terrorists learnt how to fly with flight simulators. -

Dog just yelped and started walking towards me. 2nd shot was the buckshot, I switched arms and fucked my other shoulder up too, dog STILL kept coming towards me…finally it dropped on it's side at my feet and was deaded.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, 2 sore shoulders and nothing like firing the shotgun in DOOM.

how accurate do you need to be shooting random target in a crowded room. and unless your trying to do a johnny wick style milisecond double tab, recoil isnt a significant factor shooting in a school environment.Again, moot point though…as no the military do not give 'gun training' via video games, they give tactical training via video games

USMC and a variety of other US military branches has been using video games for combat training for more than 20 years now.
if the military thinks video games are good enough to train actual soldiers for actual combat, then video games can train these young boys to be good enough soldiers.
