I wonder if he hitch hiked to LA or San Diego. It's warmer down there

Think you've got a high phone bill? Consider this: AT&T has charged an 82-year-old widow $14,000 in "rent" for use of its rotary phones over the last 42 years. What's next, kicking orphans into the street?

yeah, a decent original fabric line cord from Ma Bell was probably 135 bucks. which is easily 1200 in todays money.

a decent rotor phone was very expensive. I think Radio Shack or Sears started to make the first cat3 clip in lines in the late 1960s. the phones were cheaper. Probably 30-35 bucks?

I don't have an old catalog but the first phones were rent until owned. monthly charge of like 5 bucks until the 130 plus was paid off.

Considering it was around the time I was a baby, I have no idea where I learned this from. except It was confirmed when I spoke about it in a Radio Shack at one time. Something Momma or Pops said that stuck.
We rent this phone.. you break it you'll pay for it with your ass.

Which meant an ass whooping.. I think.

It won't matter how many times you bench or workout, you'll never be as tough as a Tabeten Monk getting kicked in the balls and taking it like a man.

I began symptoms of CPOD at 20 and stopped smoking.

I only had half a lung grow and I had bad pnemonia as a kid which scarred the shit out of my lungs. My father (adopted asshole) would come home from the steel mill everyday caked in Asbestos powder.

they would also spray it on the bridges I guess. before painting.

then there was lead paint everywhere. the 60s and 70s was just when they said "Ya know.. this asbestos and lead paint prolly aint good for the lungs"

hmmm What took you so fucking long?

People used to have the expectation of privacy but that's all gone now, people just share all there info and if you dont other people think your weird.

It's because of the Bush years. When 9/11 happened the privacy laws died. the NSA is still watching people in their bedrooms no doubt.

    just because they can.
