This means he's dead and you need to accept that. If somehow he is in jail he will just show up one day. You don't need to track him down it can only do more harm than good and there is nothing you can do for him.

2023-04-12 at 5:25 PM UTC in Can't reverse the damage done to my mindDementia runs in my family. Both my grandparents had it (on my mums side), my mum has it (early onset too...she started showing signs at age 66) and now my dad just pretty much got it in the last few months.
I'll be damned if I'm going that route, though it's clearly on the cards for me with that genetic history.
The day I can't find my way home from the store is the day I'll be putting a bullet in my head...no cowardice, just don't want to be a burden to anyone..and yes dementia is a fucking huge burden -
