I simply delete messages from these kinds of posters without opening or reading them. I don’t think they can or would be banned for spamming your inbox. Either way just ignore them and they’ll get bored and move on. Although Kafka may make a thread or two accusing you of coming on to her or some other such nonsense.

It sucks. Pygmy is one of a handful of young adults from a totalitarian state sent to the US disguised as exchange students. I read Fight Club and Diary and Lullaby, I enjoyed Fight Club enough to re-read it several times…he also wrote Rant and Snuff.
Rant was tolerable, Snuff was boring and I finished it within the space of a few hours.
The thing about Chuck is that he's a very nihilistic writer. He enjoys writing dark, disturbing, and sickening things, designed to shock eighth grade readers.
I've never previously had a problem with that, despite his recent slow decline into writing shocking things just for the sake of being shocking.
In this case (Pygmy) however, I read to the end of the first chapter and then put the book down. I did eventually finish this book in one dreary afternoon I forced my way through it, and I truly mean forced. It isn't worth the time it takes to read.
If you do want to read it, at the very least save your money and borrow it from a friend or a library. -

These two facts reinforce each other, and asking me to ignore all of my experiences and all the statistics on criminal behavior to my own detriment because it's "mean" or whatever is just silly. There was no vertical transfer. My parents didn't teach me to be racist, they're too polite and too white and Canadian for that. I learned to be racist from being around black people (thankfully, not often). Whether they're "like that" because of environmental factors stemming from how they've been treated by society or some innate genetic predisposition toward shittiness is kind of irrelevant in the context of "I just don't like 'em" - it's only relevant to how the problem should be solved. If it's environmental, more gub'mit programs will fix everything I'm sure. If it's innate… well, hopefully CRISPR can fix that, so solutions don't have to be more classically… final. Basically: I'll give a given black person a chance - I don't think they're all shit by default.
I'm just not above leveraging racist or misogynistic rhetoric against a black woman who wants to talk shit.
