this actually can be debatable.
we have scripture where God is angry about humans killing animals to sacrifice on altars. David, in Psalms, speaks of 3 separate times. and it makes sense, because before Egypt, Abraham's people did little sacrifice and is known as Father Abraham. but After Egypt, Moses created 12 altars and they were slaughtering animals left and right all day long (just like the Egyptians were doing to their own deities).
