i replied back, how he is described makes it very clear he was a very small man.
i can't find it, but there is an ancient painting of John's beheaded head on a silver platter when the king order his head to be cut off. the painting makes it appear as if johns head was shrunken like we see from cannibals. they were trying to indicate that John was very small in stature.
and that is why honey and locust would fill him up!! -

look at very old paintings. you don't recognize the fruit because a real apple was only the size of a quarter. today they are softball size. -

even 200 years ago, humans on average were 8 inches shorter than us.
in the recent years, humans have boomed faster than the past average. definitely has to be due to medical advancements. -

but the one thing that is for certain, is SIZE.
just 2,000 years ago, the average human was nearly 18" shorter than we are now.
in noah's day, and we do have fossil records of humans 15,000 years ago, they were literally half our size today on average.
this also would go for the animals compared to now and then.
the saber tooth tiger is depicted like the size of real lion, but in reality, it was twice the size of a fat house cat.
so, whatever animals there were in Noah's day, including Noah and his own family, were more than adequate for the size which the Ark is described with given dimensions.
