2017-05-26 at 11:49 PM UTC in THIS, this may be the route to self-sufficiency, the escape from hikidom without having to move back in with parents!https://www.ssa.gov/ssi/spotlights/spot-plans-self-support.htm
WHAT IS A PLAN TO ACHIEVE SELF SUPPORT (PASS)?
A PASS is a written plan of action for getting a particular kind of job or starting a business. In it you identify:
the job or business (this is your work goal);
the steps you will take and the things you will need in order to achieve your work goal (for example: education or training, transportation, child care, or assistive technology);
the money you will use to pay for these things (this may be any income (other than SSI benefits) or assets, such as Social Security benefits, wages from a current job, or savings); and
a timetable for achieving your goal
spotlight
HOW CAN A PASS HELP ME ACHIEVE MY WORK GOAL?
If SSA approves your PASS, we will not count the money you spend on your plan when we determine your eligibility for SSI. If you are already eligible for SSI, this will increase your SSI benefit, which will replace all of the money you spend on your PASS.

This has so much potential.
Imagine this, I create a plan for an online business, but it's all a cover to set up an operation as a darknet dealer. Not that I would actually do it, it's just an example.
What particularly entices would be just how high you can get your business, the business you could accumulate. For example, what if one of the things for my business was a high tier gaming computer, which I could lie and say was going to serve as a custom, not prebuilt, server or something.
I would have no problem writing a solid small business plan considering how utterly idiotic and simplistic most tend to be, and the enormous failure rate (Like 8/10 within 5 years or something). Maybe you could purposefully seem to fuckup a cover operation in order to start the cycle over again, make one business appear to fail so you can start another cycle of increase bennies, buying different types of equipment, etc.
Increased money for school would be the homo route.
One of the items for my business could be a natural herbal item. Unbeknownst to them, it's tens of kilos of mimosa hostilis at an incredible price from a source in China that imports the correct variety, leading to a massive return. You could get away with so many of the items needed. Of course one of the first things you should buy is a receipt printer, so you can forge records, anything else needed for this, possibly something capable of doing documents, anything that a good quality printer couldn't handle. -

Originally posted by RestStop Yeah I agree with the medical marijuana thing. I'm going to sound like an old man here but mostly it's a very convenient excuse to smoke pot legally and have the plug be your doctor/a cannabis dispensary. All the people thinking it's going to be some magical weed utopia are dead wrong too. I've seen the prices people pay for this shit and for what they're paying for a 2-3 grams is what I could cop an entire ounce of the same exact strain for and any criminal worth his salt would be able to as well.
I'm not hating on the plant itself I think as far as illegal drugs go it is probably the most benign and harmless "drug" there is but people take it a step too far and act as if taking three water bong rips before work is the same thing as taking as a multi vitamin and it's not. Common logic will tell you inhaling anything that harsh that is that rough on your throat and lungs clearly isn't doing any favors for your health.
That's absolutely true, the medical marijuana industry, the process to receive a prescription, generally is a complete joke and is simply a form of quasi-legalization.
But that doesn't mean that there aren't people who legitimately use it for medicinal purposes. They're only a small fraction, but they absolutely do exist, they just don't tend to be as vocal about their use.
Also, here in SF prices and quality at dispensaries are fucking great. Way better than way you get on the street. It really varies by state and the region you're in. -

Originally posted by Dargo Admittedly I haven't read as much on the subject of psychedelics as I should have, but I generally hold the same opinion on it as I do medicinal marijuana: It's shit, and there are better (or should be better) alternative forms of treatment.
Medicinal marijuana has multiple uses that are far superior to alternatives, at least for certain conditions. It genuinely holds great promise.
The same is true for psychedelics. Of course governments have absolutely crippled research for decades, since the period where they generally became illegal around the globe, led by the US war on drugs.
I strongly disagree with your views if you consider them worthy of being called "shit".
No offense, but the vast majority of psychiatrists (of course psychologists will tend to be far worse (no offense)) tend to have a wildly inaccurate view of the efficacy of the drugs they prescribe, proper procedure for diagnosing and treating patients, and understanding of neurology and pharmacology. There are multiple reasons for this, immense flaws in the education system, problems inherent to the field, the complexity and level of knowledge. Just look at the size of the DSM-V, there are reasons why people specialize.
Do you believe SSRIs are generally effective treatments for depression? -

2017-05-26 at 3:14 AM UTC in Comcast Userdata Used to Create Support for Anti-Net Neutrality LawsApparently someone who has full access to Comcast's userdata has been sending feedback to the FCC in support of plans to roll back 'Net Neutrality' using customer details...
As in, Comcast or someone with access to their userdata has been impersonating Comcast customers to build support for Comcast business interests.
https://www.comcastroturf.com/ - if you're a Comcast customer this site will check to see if your account details have been used to send feedback to the FCC.
http://bgr.com/2017/05/23/comcast-fcc-net-neutrality-legal-analysis/ - summary as to what's going on. Of course Comcast has tried to get an injunction against the above site, hasn't been successful so far though. -

Originally posted by hydromorphone I know he needs good male role models in his life and he will have that. I have a person that is going to be the good role model he needs and has been helping me too with my shit. He's a million times better of a person than I've ever had in my life (though he's been there for like… Ever, since I was a teenager, before I met my exhusband even), even just as a friend he's treated me a million times better than I deserve, better than my exhusband or §m£ÂgØL ever treated me, and I know too he's going to be good to my son and be that male figure he needs in his life. Well, I guess I do have a boyfriend now… But he's done so much to help me over the years, he's been there in my darkest hours and got me through some serious shit- fuck, he literally has saved my life, no exaggeration, when I had overdosed by taking a ton of pills many years ago- and now I can finally say I am very happy he did. I was alway appreciative that he care that much about me when no one else cared, but now I genuinely am happy he did. It's funny that this great person I needed in my life as a partner was there the whole time.. And it took a fucked up scary thing to happen for us both to realize that about each other. I'm really lucky and this is why I am working so hard to find answers and to fix myself- I want to be the best person I can, to be the person he deserves for him and my son and he's been this person who's motivated me to be better than who I am now and has given me hope that I can be… I didn't think I could for a long time, especially with shit §m£ÂgØL had said to me.
My son hardly ever watches TV. We will watch a movie or something once in a while or I'll sit and watch a kid show with him, but I'm not going to let him zone into watching the TV all day long- that's ridiculous and not good for kids to grow that sort of TV addiction, even me or other people, it's fucked up and I hate sitting in front of a TV all day, but I know people who do (my exhusband did). That won't happen with me though.
Here are some ideas for role models.
President of the USA Donald Trump.
GOD(Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, Zod, L ron hubbard) Atheism is cool but they need to believe in a higher power, young flower
I recommend someone like pastor Joel Osteen, you should expose your child to motivational conservative values.
Also I think what they read, watch and play with is important. Cowboys, Spacemen, Superheros, Police, Cars, Robots, Monsters, Insects, Construction. Boys need to be exposed to masculinity, they need to learn about technology, money and even things like girls toys, any kind of exposure to sex in a healthy birds and bees kind of way.
I'm not sure how I feel about cross dressing lol. Also every child needs Calvin and Hobbes style Character Building.
Also Ronkle toy logic IQ pussles.
