Mine"s water powered so it doesn't use any power but it's only 10 gallon a day so a bigger one may be powered
Edit I forgot to add my only cost after the unit is replacing f ilters

My dog had a double coat so my vet suggested keeping his coat trimmed very short so it didn't trap allergens against his skin again limited success. It's just trial and error until you find something that helps if you do. I tried benadryl and medicated shampoo but the food made the biggest difference.

Try a different food. I had a dog that feeding a salmon and rice based feed helped. It didn't cure him but he was better.
