There's a whole huge debate over whether or not a fetus is human yet (protip, it's not) but there is NO debate about whether a baby is a human or not. This is a living breathing human who needs to be looked after.
But Republicants say 'fuck that'. If they had it their way we wouldn't have food stamps. Kind of amazing. This was during the Great Depression, and the GOP was against food stamps. Our economy is not much better off now than it was back then, and we're facing a similar issue with nationalized healthcare, which FDR tried to pass as well but was not able to get it through due to Republicants.
These people don't actually care about life. What they care about is imposing their religious beliefs on you through law.

I'm surprised it has only happened once and only 1 inmate was involved. It sounds like it was a general pop inmate who saw Kelly and therefore saw an opportunity to get him. Kelly is definitely PC and probably housed with very limited contact with other inmates hence the "out of bounds" description. Guards will frequently set inmates up for fights by "double dooring" them "accidentally"
