One of the hardest things I've ever had to do was to have my dog put to sleep after he had a massive stroke. i had him for 12 years, ever since he was a puppy and I held him and petted him as the shot put him to sleep and I went home and broke down crying but I couldn't let him die alone with strangers.

My 13 y/o lab mix seems to be in the last stages of her life. She has lost about 20% of her body weight, she is walking about aimlessly, losing her bladder, and is digging at my carpet.
You know your dog better than anybody but it sounds like it’s time to me.
I agree with everything Grimace said, especially about being there during the final moments.
I’m so, so sorry. I know how bad it stings.
*hugs*

Yes. Went through this many, many times. Also with a lab at 13 years old.
Death is part of life. As much as it pains us to say goodbye, we all have to at some point. Two years ago, I had to make that choice with my beloved cat. Excrutiatingly painful for me. I broke down in uncontrollable sobs in the vet's office. It sucks bad to have to go through that, but just try and remember that it's part of life. We all die, even our beloved animals.
If your dog is dying, please be there during her final moments and not send her off to the back of the vet clinic. As much as it pains you, imagine how it pains her if she's terrified, surrounded by people she doesn't know.
I hope your pupper makes a comeback and turns out to be fine, but if not, realize that death is part of life and your dog (hopefully) has had a great life with you. Also be mindful of when it is humane to pull the trigger. My cat was alive, but was at such a very, very low quality of life, it would have been inhumane to allow him to keep living. It was gut-wrenchingly painful to make that call, but I knew it was the right thing. Be open to making that same call with your pupper, if need be.

The only people I've ever met who were overtly racist enough to get tattoos, form groups etc. We're by all accounts weak willed and stupid individuals. Racism is born out of fear and insecurity, two traits a self respecting man seeks to eradicate from his psyche. I dislike Chinese people but I can't admit it's out of fear of the yellow peril and their insidious nature of sliding into other countries. I hate communism and how destructive they are to the environment as well as their persecution of Buddhists, Muslims and followers of falon gong. I am willing to admit my apprehension is based on fear of a yellow planet.
Being racist towards black people literally means you are a cuck. You fear black people taking the only fat white bitch willing to fuck you. You are afraid of black people according you because they can see the fear in your eyes. You want to blame your insecurities on them and your hatred is based on envy.
Literally everyone racist is a faggot. Discuss
