My grandfathers house is still there,which was built by his grandfather. It’s actually a pretty big,timber-built house. Has Water,but no indoor shitter. Only about 1000 acres left,but apparently we owned the whole county at one time. Split up amongst sons,then sons,etc which they started selling off. Our family cemetery is on it. My cousin found there were 4 more around the county. We found a cpl by searching through woods. -

My cousins did all this research. They have 3 books of records,articles,pics...it seemed legit. Who knows. 17 degrees removed from the queen supposedly. We did find a cemetery last week with a bunch of names that was on her research from the early 1700’s they seemed pretty happy about that. One was a British navel officer that flipped to the American side,which is how we got all our land in Appalachia. -
