Tats are more and more considered artwork and not looked at as negatively as they used to be. My daughter has a few and said they can be addicting. I think if they are tastefully done, they can look good on women, however I don't think a lot of young folks consider how it may be perceived when looking to begin their career.
Back when I was younger, the only women that had tats were biker babes and trashy type women, men typically had at least one from their time in the service especially in my dad's generation. I've thought about getting one like my daughters, she has a small shooting star behind her ear, the wrinkles won't distort it so much there on me but still not sure.
