After, Tolkien fans (there are various foundation for Middle Earth, linguistic as well) created websites and places where you can learn the language. Not sure if this was before or after the movies though. I think the language thing might have been before the movies, but I'm not sure. -

Yeah, Italians are supporting Croatia. Well, I can't speak for all of them, obviously. lol
But that's what the mood seems from what I've observed. Not just in the final really. I watched 2 Croatia's games in a pub and people were cheering for them. On FB and the media here seems the same thing as well. -

I still have some things which I love and still wear today though. I have a great winter coat I bought in 2001, in Dubrovnik. It was a bit expensive back then, but it turn out worth every single DM. I also have a leather jacket, boots and a couple of skirts since 2004, and a pair of sandals. They are my favorites but the leather is not the same anymore. I don't want to throw them away though, because they are particular and can't find them anymore.
I'm thinking to go to the cobbler and repair them. -

No it is not. Pilaf has a different technique of cooking and it is not cold. It's a traditional dish in Albania and I know it very well.
This is rice salad. Cooked plain (no broth of any kind, as you would do with pilaf) and left to cool down. After it is cold, you mix it all together with 5 to 6 fresh ingredients (not cooked, again, as you would do with pilaf). -
