Man I hate this. If you tell them the truth, "I don't really watch sports" it's kind of a conversation killer.
The only polite response is "No how did it go" and then you listen to them talk about shit you don't care about for like 5 minutes. Usually I will find any sort of question that will change the topic or at least make it more engaging, but it usually just results in me asking another fucking sports question for some reason. Then I'm in a full fledged conversation about sports and I don't know how to get out of it.
Usually it's socially unacceptable to greet random people with discussion of your personal hobbies. But for some reason with sports its okay and normal and everyone who doesn't watch them just has to deal with it.
The worst is when you don't have the energy for it so you say "Nah I don't really watch sports" BUT THEN THEY TALK ABOUT IT ANYWAY

I said "umm yes". The manager said "well if you give us a good review the bill is taken care of". I guess I was being a bit slow that day and questioned it at which point it was established I wasn't the "insert name here" they thought I was..and so had to pay the bill, the woman I was with at the time (who's family were the other meal eaters) called me a "stupid dumb fuck" as we left for not keeping my mouth shut.
lesson learned, next time just go with the fucking flow.

Added range selection, so now you can click the first one, then hold shift and click the last one, and it will select everything in between.
