It used to be that people could get carry permits with relative ease in the 90s, and security guards could carry their guns off work as well. Drafted combat soldiers could carry their guns as well when off duty.
Things changed. Israel is heavily westernized, and therefore inclined towards degeneracy. I have seen obvious cross dressers walking around at night in Tel-Aviv couple of years ago, and nobody seemed to bother them. Unheard of in the 90s and early 00s.
Now that people are pussies, combat draftees need to jump through hoops to get to carry their rifles home with them when on leave (lots of pussies used them to commit suicide like little bitches). Concealed carry permits/gun permits, from what I know, are mostly only allowed to people living in occupied territories (the govt. clamped down the border and terror attacks became less frequent). Not sure about the security guards.
The picture is from some kind of leftist demonstration, so of course that they will feel empowered in large numbers. I bet they learned to do this from watching things happening in the west, too. Monkey see monkey do.
In everyday life, you could easily make these rapefugees fuck off. You could simply walk towards them with a notepad in your hand while they loiter at a park, and they would frequently leave thinking that you're a cop.
Again, you must not be a pussy. A lot of Israelis are pussies these days. Last I was in Tel-Aviv, people warned me of some "ghetto", in which happened to be the so-called "old central bus station". Not entirely related but funny: In the u.s. they try to keep it clean. In Israel, the CBS neighborhood reeks of piss and whatnot. It was very relieving to just throw shit on the ground when you're done with it. Never used a trash can there. Guess who came out early in the morning to clean it all up, when I was walking back to my place in the early morning? The same refugees, with sorry looks on their face, picking up the same trash that I threw on the ground the previous night, wearing hilarious orange vests. There's plenty of information out there, but I guess that's the real problem - there's so much garbage, hearsay and pure propaganda that it's often hard to tell what's worth parsing. Nobody can feasibly fly out to every 'hot zone' to verify data so it becomes a question of what sources to trust... and all sides have an agenda.
I've had a friend who blocked me on facebook because I sent him videos that show people in North Korea living boring, ordinary lives and he lost his mind saying it was propaganda and that they're all slaves and should be nuked to get at Kim. I've had people that were ostensibly 'on my side' dogpiling me because I asked Vanessa Beeley (prominent independent journalist who does a lot of work in Syria) if there was any evidence of the US using white phosphorous (she made the claim that they had without providing any photos or sources or anything).
Speaking of, I talk a lot of shit about facebook and social media in general but until my account got suspended, that was my best source of information - I had several local Iraqis and Syrians who posted constant updates and were willing to answer questions along with people connected to US military and volunteer medics. I was able to get a lot of specifics that never make it into the news - for all it's other failings, facebook (and twitter, to a lesser extent) is an excellent tool for people to subvert mass media and get their own perspectives out to the rest of the world.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Of the countries I've experienced K-12 education in the US was the least physically violent but the most socially divided. Like no one gets bullied by the big dude threatening to beat them up or whatever but the in group/out group dynamic is pretty significant and I feel like there's much more stigma around being part of the out group than elsewhere.
