Okay, that's a lie - who doesn't consider it at some point or another? We ~all know how to write, and we more or less do it every day, so it's simple enough to find opportunities to think "why don't I just do this… but more? super easy!". It's not easy. Being a writer sucks the big doo doo. I just like fucking with language, and making it do fun things that sound neat to me. That's all. OP features some very purple prose… I think. Some of it must meet the criteria. Surely. Well, as long as we understand purple prose to mean 'pretentious' + something akin to 'chewing the scenery' in acting, but for writing. Schizos in Half Baked can get away with writing like that, but that shit don't fly for writers.
Like: writing purple prose is fun; Writing purple prose is probably not. (ie being a writer known for the purple-y hue of their prose)
