The idea of a corporate entity that's so willing to moderate is not good while also under the thumb of the government versus a more hands off deal with issues as they arise versus looking for issues it's the problem with modern social media and it sounds like telegram has fallen under this spell as well
but the way the government see's it EVERY report should be investigated and forwarded to police which is pretty ironic for an "encrypted messaging platform" why can't someone just make an IRC client that encrypts everything through TOR or I2P becuase I understand the main vulnerability of that is IP leaking.
Also I never heard of anyone ever getting banned from ICQ/ Skype, MSN or Yahoo. so like WTF is this shit why is technology moving backwards -
