After a fresh start the other night we were looting in another town when we noticed some infected corpses and knew there was another player. We were able to track the other player to a small garage / shed building, due to them aggravating the infected while they made their way through town.
The building had a window and I took aim with a recently acquired Mosin. The player dropped and the infected were after me. My partner went to check the shed to confirm the kill or finish him off if unconscious. But was blasted away as soon as he opened the door by a second player.
I retreat to a nearby house and wait for the infected to calm down. There was about a dozen infected in the area. After some time I sneak to the shed. It has two entrances. I carefully open one entrance while staying in cover, then the other, while the player is closing them again. I went back and forth, opening the doors and staying in cover, then started running around the building and kept opening doors as I ran around.
The infected noticed and swarmed and that's when I took a chance and ran inside. I had an axe and managed to rush the player and quickly kill him. He did get two shots off but thankfully was not able to hit me firing his rifle in close quarters. After killing him I closed the doors before any infected got in. Got to take the best loot off the two bodies in the shed as well as my partners old body.
