Feel free to name a human right that can't easily be stripped from you.

I still don't understand why you seem to think things can only exist if they can't be destroyed.

Again, all that shows is that you have no qualms trampling over someone's human rights and ending their life.

Apparently you are incorrect, and human rights are inalienable, fundamental rights to which a person is inherently entitled simply because they are a human being.

Again, you didn't actually explain why you believe a "higher power" or "authority" is required to be involved at all, you've just asserted that is the case and expect everyone to accept your story.

Still don't understand why you believe human rights would require belief in a higher power to exist? Do you ignore the human rights protected by municipal and international laws? Would you ever volunteer to exclude yourself from such protection, considering you don't believe you actually have any rights?

You still haven't demonstrated that human rights don't exist, only that you personally don't believe in them and would have no qualms destroying someone's life.

As aldra said, you don't prove a negative.

aldra is right about that, but apparently that hasn't stopped you from trying.

But following your logic, cash has no value because it can easily be destroyed.

otherwise what was the implication?..again there is a cost to everything, your question is moot.

I didn't imply anything, only asked if those things go should be treated as commodities or human rights. Obviously these things involve costs and time, regardless of their status as a "right" or as a "commodity".

Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson Human rights don't exist, I thought I made that clear.

No, quite literally all you stated was you don't believe human rights exist. Which is why I asked you why do you believe human rights require belief in a higher power to exist? Do you ignore the human rights protected by municipal and international laws? Would you ever volunteer to exclude yourself from such protection, considering you don't believe you actually have any rights?

It's just another ruse to make people feel better about their existence.

If you can't think of any examples of human rights that do not involve costs or people's time, why would "cost or time" preclude something from being a human right?

Why do you believe human rights require belief in a higher power to exist? Do you ignore the human rights protected by municipal and international laws? Would you ever volunteer to exclude yourself from such protection, considering you don't believe you actually have any rights?

"Hunger cliff" looms as 32 states set to slash food-stamp benefits

The cuts will impact more than 30 million people who are enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, in those states, according to data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Among the states where recipients are facing cuts are California and Texas, which have greatest number of people on SNAP, at 5.1 million and 3.6 million recipients, respectively.
