Permanent residents of the United States need a valid Alien Registration Card and a passport to enter Canada. There are unguarded roads at the border but you are not going to find any along the Golden Horseshoe. Yuu would have to cross in New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine if you went east or you would have to go to Minnesota if you went west. However when you are caught you will placed in a quarantine hotel and force to pay for to two week stay in some provinces. There are no unguarded crossings between Ontario and the U.S. The closet would be between Queerbec and New York would be in the extreme Northeast corner of New York in a little town called Akwesasne. That would be 984 mile trip from Dayton, Ohio. Once you have been quarantined and jailed for a deportation hearing you would have a problem getting back to the U.S. without a passport. Which would likely mean more time in detention in the U.S. while the system verified you.
But please try it, I can't wait to read you cry about it when you finally make it back home with nowhere to live because you defaulted on your lease.

It is liberal thoughts like this that allowed Darrel Brooks to mow down innocent people with an SUV in Kenosha. People are what they are. If they have drug problems that have lead to multiple felony and misdemeanor convictions it is not likely that they will be a dependable employee who can be trusted to perform their assigned tasks in a satisfactory fashion. Personnel are not the most important part of any business, they are the business.
If you have substandard undependable personnel you will a substandard unreliable business. Would you buy a pig in poke knowing that some of the pokes contained poisoned pork? Then why would want to put others in a position that required them to hire people without knowing their background?
