yeah, obsolete technology…10 still isn't many by ANY stretch of the imagination when they could all be sunk on the same day.
It's actually more 81. 11 of which are in service. Not to mention the combined deck space is those 11 are more than double the combined deck space of every other operational carrier in the world combined. -

Anyone who has studied mathematics can "predict" the answer to a question like 2 + 2 = X. It isn't even a prediction, they can see the answer in the equation. To suggest people who study climate science can't do the same thing, even when provided all the evidence that they have already done so, is intellectually dishonest.

US is rumoured to be sending Strykers now as well, would not be surprised if the Ukrainians just use them as artillery ammo transports like the APCs and medical transports they've been sent.
the Ukrainians want heavy tanks, but among other problems the Abrams and Leopards (most likely candidates) are way too heavy for the region; at almost 70 tonnes they'll obliterate roads, fall through bridges and fuck up pontoon crossings

Originally posted by Jiggaboo_Johnson It's been years since I crunched on and slurped down a spicy pickled onion.
Back in the late 80s early 90s there was a small British Pub on Las Vegas Blvd between Sahara and Freemont St. It was owned by two English twin brothers who had moved to the states in the early 90s.
Most of their condiments and such were things not common to the US much like some of the things you've described.
Their menu, according to them, was typical English pub fare and it was one of the very few "bars" in Las Vegas where they didn't have gambling of any type. This led to more social interaction on the part of the clientele.
You spoke of pickled onion which is what flipped the memory. One of my favorite things to order there was what they called the p
Ploughman's Lunch. It came with a couple of thick slices of hands A couple of small fresh baked loaves, Some mince I think they called it, A big pickled onion, And 4 or 5 wedges of different sharp kinds of cheeses. Along with A couple soup of the day. -
