   I agree completely, even small clubs with unknowns can be a great time. No lie, I saw Norm McDonald, about 7 years before his network TV debut on Letterman, in a small comedy club in my home town. This was before anyone knew who he was or even was anyone.
   
   I recall leaving the show thinking that guy has got it. I never thought much about him or his name until almost 10 years later when all of sudden I see the guy on SNL. And well, the rest is history.
   
   But that's the cool thing about small comedy clubs, you never know, you just might see the next iconic comedian and have a great time for not a lot.
