   No your point is disproved by your own post. It can't be done because the hardware components must be replaced and that requires a planned shutdown and data transfer in the case of a storage device to avoid an unplanned shutdown.

    Exactly. Some people seem to think money is some finite thing. That if too few people have too much of it that there wont be enough for everyone. It's not finite it's a construct of man. So the exact opposite is true. The more money "rich" people have the more money everyone has. The more a business profits the more it will produce. The more they produce the more they invest in labor. Labor is the true value of money. If nobody is buying labor nobody is prospering.
