Originally posted by Sudo I've lived a pretty terrible life but I feel pretty good about myself. I would have horribly low self esteem if I was 60 and owned no property though
The majority of humans don't own property. I've rented, leased, leased to purchase, mortgages, and even bought on a cash purchase once. Either way it's a duel edged sword.
If you inw it and it breaks or needs maintiend you can forget about that new toy or vacation you had saved for. On the other hand if you rent your buying property for someone else. It all depends on what you want from life and what your skills are.
If you are great with tools and like working with your hands then owning is no problem. But I knew a guy named Mac. Max is dead now but he worked his entire life in the garment district of NYC. He didn't know a hammer from a hamster. So max leased his entire life. He never had to fix anything when it broke or pay for parts and labor. It worked out great for him. -

Originally posted by Sudo I knew you didn't. You don't even have a car
so you don't either. Sad
I don't own any either but have friends younger than me who own homes. I might actually get in on a property a friend of mine bought that closes dec 7th I just have to make my mind up
The point is, Canada is the worlds 19th largest country and has 3 time zones in it
The point is that you have low self esteem. This gives you cause to imagine that others are as bad off as you or worse to lessen the misery that you have lived by comparison. -

Not really. All you have to do to defeat this argument is say that they believe it is in the nation's best interests and that's why they want to take the reins.
The side effect as you call it is the primary motivation and end goal all wrapped into one. But you would need deprpgraming to realize that. -
