If you needed a desktop, I'd recommend you build your own. If you want a laptop you can buy new or buy refurbished. I buy refurbished all of the time and have yet to have an issue. You just gotta buy from a quality refurbisher. Joy Systems Inc. is a good one.

I particularly recommend Lenovo brand laptops, (or MSI), but this is totally your choice. Browse their shit. They have a lot and its all backed with a 1 year warranty, the same you'd get from an "off the shelf" store. -

Get an RX550 for $80 and widen your doors to whatever the fuck you wanna do, assuming your CPU isn't bottlenecking you. Basically, while you might be able to tweak your way into doing what you want, to do it right, you need a better GPU.

Uhhh, when you have a moment of "Shit, I think I am dying!" it tends to stick with you. I have many of what you are describing. I remember one afternoon my mother telling me "Don't wake your sister, she is sleeping". She was born in 89, so I figure this was at least 91-92. I went upstairs, saw her asleep in her lil bed, and went in and fell asleep next to her. I remember that vividly.
I have a ton of other random moments in time from my extreme youth, but the one I shared for this thread is absolutely the one that stands out the most. -

Some integrated graphics drivers do not include this feature, but if you have a dedicated GPU, your graphics driver software likely has the feature built-in. AMD's Radeon software has hotkeys (Ctrl + Shift + R) to enable screen recording, as an example.

No sooner than she left the room, the entire banana slipped out of the peel and ROCKETED into my throat. I FLIPPED OVER and raced upstairs, desperately grabbing at my throat. My mother just looks at me and goes, "Stop faking it!" and goes back to her book. I am fucking DYING and can't speak or breathe, thrashing about wildly, when I suddenly swallow it. I then tell her that I was JUST DYING and she tells me, "I told you, didn't I?"

I was still in a crib, because I vividly remember the bars of it to keep me from rolling out or whatever. The particular tape they put into it was another popular thing in the 80s, a tape cassette that used my name in a very dreamy way of speaking. It was meant to help me go to sleep and soothe me. I guess it probably did, but I specifically remember the fucking goose. If I was still in a crib, I was 2ish or so. That's my first memory.
