its like if you were 40 and had a 4 year old child and tried to explain to them a year is 1/40th of my existence, they cannot comprehend that because they don't know what 40 years feels like. they can only comprehend it in comparison to their own length of existence. same with any of us at any point in our lives. like i'm 46 yet i couldn't really understand a year being 1/80th of a lifetime. i haven't existed that long.

true, but i'm talking about my very first thoughts as i was climbing out the wreckage. as it happens it was put down as my fault in the end despite it being anything but in reality. that's what happens when you don't have car insurance tho.
