Yeah don't get this mentality at all. Why do people have to make it all or nothing.
"What bro you don't want uneducated illegal immigrants from Mexico and South America coming and fucking up our system??? Don't you know Silicone Valley wouldn't exist without immigrants bro!"
The real redpill is realizing it's because women have a say on the issue, who think everyone is as good willed as they are. No sane male wants their community overrun with immigrants, let alone illegals. It's not just coincidence that sanctuary cities are shit holes with crime and violence. -

Where do you plan on getting it? I don't want to pay out the ass at some gay nu-age health store for something that's probably packaged in China and contaminated with heavy metals. There's tons of wild mushrooms for every locale, and while I'm confident I could pick out a few edible ones, I'm not confident enough to eat them. Growing them works I guess, but you wouldn't want to show the wrong person even if it's not illegal. -
2017-02-11 at 3:56 PM UTC in How do you normally dress?Jeans and a causal dress shirt / sweater / flannel / sweatshirt.
At home if I'm just relaxing pajama pants and sweatshirt, but for some reason this makes it hard to get shit done, so I wear jeans if I want to be productive. -
2017-02-11 at 3:41 PM UTC in Foods/supplements to stay healthyEggs are delicious and good for you. Fats are good for you, like olive oil, avacado, meats. I think red meat fats are only bad because of being some bad type of cholesterol. Carbs are definitely not good for you, I don't go out of my way to avoid them though.
Fish too. Salmon is supposed to be really good for you and when you cook it the fat bubbles to the top making it especially tasty, mmmmm.
There's also some mushrooms that are supposedly really good for you too. I just eat regular ones, but really want to get into picking/growing them, but I'm afraid of fucking it up.
I drink tea all day, it's probably good for you. I read it is good for your teeth (not the color obviously). And honestly I only drink alcohol really because it's good for you in moderation, but beer isn't good for men because of something to do with estrogen.

#1 I'm not the faggot raving about the latest judenvision screen.
If you took a minute you could appreciate that your eyes function much better than a camera ever could (barring extreme low aperature/long exposure photography, but that doesn't work for video anyways).
#2 You could count the number of rods and cones, but even those aren't going to function like a pixel. It's a chemical reaction, the concept of resolution doesn't apply. -

Like seriously, how is it possible for the eye to see this shit but not see shit like that itself? You stupid eye. TVs are destroying you.
TV can't convey a godlike fractal or the snowy texture, which is reality. You're eye sees in an infinite resolution. I think it just looks cool because you can take in the entire scene at once, whereas when you look at something you can look around and get distracted. -
2017-02-11 at 1:24 AM UTC in Site not secure?
Originally posted by Lanny I'm of the opinion that a self signed cert is worse than no SSL at all, self signing encourages people to ignore warnings or worse acknowledging untrusted certificate authorities, it's a false sense of security as far as I'm concerned. At least with no SSL people who care should understand there's a risk of MitM.
In any case, letsencrypt is now issuing free certs, which is cool, https is now working. Serving http alongside because I'm not convinced everything ever (especially anonymous sessions) needs SSL, but if you're signing in I encourage you to use it, I will.
Your browser may still refuse to show you the happy green lock of warm-safe-feelings on some pages since users can embed non-SSL images. If this bothers you you can disable images either from your user profile page or through your browser.
That's bullshit and you know. (Previously) Anyone who signs in through a sketchy proxy, probably ~50% of the users, are risking having their credentials stolen. That goes double when sharing a lan with other people. And it also assumes ISPs aren't hostile. A cert distributed through a trusted party (ie. github) would be completely legitimate. Anyone who blindly trusts it is already a lost cause. The site isn't going to tip the scales and cause grandma to lose her life saving to bankofamerica.ru
I see your point of course, but that's like saying "no child left behind" makes everyone smarter. The reality is it drags everyone else down to the stupidest person.
Anyway cool to have SSL nonetheless.
I believe there's like 3 levels of security the browser assigns and to get the green lock you have to jump through a shitload of hoops. Take say yahoo.com doesn't have it (just a grey lock), banofamerica.com does. -

2017-02-11 at 12:51 AM UTC in Anyone ever experience sleep paralysis!!?Damn suprsised so many people have never experienced it. Used to get it all the time, one time sleeping in class even. It used to always be accompanied by a really heavy body load/buzzing and I actually came to kind of enjoy it (the trick is to rape the shadow figure before it rapes you, heh no I actually never experienced the shadow). It's also way more likely to happen when you sleep on your back.
Nowadays it's neither here nor there, I get an inception type deal out of it. I realize it's happening, "wake up", then wake up again. -

2017-02-10 at 4:53 AM UTC in If i were to look for web-app related files on a server that might contain cleartext credentials...For searching code "ack" is preferred, it will skip binary files which makes it faster than grep. Then you don't have to mess around with the file type pattern matching. Just "ack '$pasword'", it will search more than php, but who knows maybe there's a bash script with some nice passwords somewhere.
I think it goes by extension so a script with no extension might be excluded, not 100% on that though.

Originally posted by 0Death SSL would be appreciated, way safer to use SSL if you're browsing over Tor. Then it's harder for the exit nodes to sniff around, https would help prevent it.
Originally posted by aldra NIS has never had an ssl cert as far as I know, probably chrome update - detects a login form and warns you if there's no valid SSL cert
Oh yeah now I remember, it used to be behind cloudflare, which lets you piggy back their ssl cert. Those were dark days. No ssl is infinitely better than that and probably more secure in some sense.
Originally posted by Lanny Yeah, it's no SSL. I was thinking it was like $100+ which isn't bad but more than I felt like throwing down up front but for single domain it's actually pretty cheap. I'll look into it.
You could even use a self signed cert and post the hash on github or something for those who want it. The push for ssl everywhere seems kind of overblown, the worst that could happen here is someone interferes with my shitposting. -
