Do we know of a motive yet?

What does that have to do with school bullying

I had a lovely dream last night. Society had collapsed. I had an empty bag. The leaders and managers and kings were gone. In this brave new world everyone was parting out what they had and were distributing what the elite had for free according to their needs. The parasites were crushed and their monuments were at our feet, and in the rubble? A party, an end of the world rave. People expressed themselves truly for the first time.
Knowledge like the alcohol, weed, etc. was distributed freely, for when we finished tearing it down we'd have to rebuild. Yes their was danger, and a long road ahead, but we all loved a challenge, to shape this world in our own way, a better way, free of the leeches at the top who offered nothing and knew of nothing but luxury, who held us all back.
Yes there was difficulty, but without state mandated and supported ways of connecting and disseminating information, we could truly connect.

We rocked the night away, and drank and fought and celebrated to our hearts content, with art, with drink, with herb, philosophy, and shared knowledge. Truer expression had never been, at least not in this age.

I woke up with a pounding headache, like the hangover was real. I despaired, because it was not.

Blowing in an old game cartridge

    Bass Ale

    That beige of old computers

Old sofas with a broken board that you sorta sink into

A bowl under the deck in the rain

Of course it was an inside job. I thought this was public knowledge already. If some huge event goes down you bet your sweet sweet ass that "they" are in on it. Austin bombings? Canada truck? Vegas Massacre?
The trick is to see how few answers come out and how fast the story disappears from the public "news". The ones that linger have a higher chance of being real. The other ones are like a gut punch. They got their reaction, the opinions changed, people got programmed, and certain words or concepts enter the general publics lexicon of fears and doubts.
Just look at incels being in the public view. NPR has done like 3 different reports on them following the attack this week alone.

Probably same way I did. Seeing that the current system is a travesty, and seeing example after example of power corrupting.
Basically from a point of philosophy and history.

As for starting your great change? Teach everyone how to make firearms and weapons and homesteading skills. More and more leave and refuse to abide, rally minorities with a "this isn't the American dream" type Bants and inspire them to the spirit of true freedom their original immigrant predecessors may have had, work deals with native Americans for better deals post change and more land, build depots underground on tribal land and teach innawoods skills there, both to avoid thermal imaging drones with hiding and plausible deniability. Less police, only FBI can do stuff there, and drone strikes against tribal lands would agitate libs to your cause. Fighting in the streets activates the militias who want any excuse for a civil war at this point. Many militiamen are surprisingly ok with primitivistic living, which isn't a huge philosophical jumpo to anarchistic or even communistic thought. With constitutionalists, militiamen, minorities, libs all going army kicks in. Many would defect. Rest of them are overwhelmed by sheer numbers of everyone else fighting.

    Then?

Wait for the ashes and dust to settle.

Just ideas off the top of my head, as you might imagine a considerable amount of luck goes into this one, but theoretically???

I stopped when I when I saw a video of a bunch of chinamen working on some metal scaffolding in the rain next to a power line. The storm blew the line into contact with the scaffolding and they couldn't pull their hands off of it and they just stood weird and then one by one went limp, then started smoking.

I can only imagine the sound and smell. Still messes me up thinking about it

It seems we have a running theme here of people having a fear of losing the "self", or to become an invalid drain

Spiders etc. Are homies. Like bees they're your friends.

For that price range you'd have a hard enough time playing even oblivion.
Protip: get a secondhand laptop with full keyboard and am ok processor and just play dwarf fortress and cataclysm: dark days ahead

One instance of sheer terror is one thing. It ends, as do all things.

Existential screaming that ends only when the horror fades with your very last breath is another

Please record your journey and share it here. I'm headed out that way in June to do more or less the same thing. Live out of a conversion van and camp as much as possible. When I get some more experience under my belt, settle in Montana. Where are you presently?
