I got the OSVR on release, virtually the same hardware as the rift and vive (sans motion controllers) for half the price. takes a lot of tinkering to get it working well.
the screen resolution has a ways to go I think. 2100x1080 or so sounds like a lot but it's not fantastic when it's an inch from your face -
