Originally posted by NARCassist again alcohol, it literally destroys nearly every prohibitionist argument.
except it doesn't. the only reason alcohol isn't controlled in the same way as other drugs is because of its cultural relevance in much of the world; prohibition was tried and failed because use of alcohol is too deeply entrenched in (western) society and culture. it's more socially and personally destructive than most commonly used drugs, and from a purely utilitarian, bird's-eye view modern societies would be safer without it. banning it outright is simply a matter of (im)practicality. -

Originally posted by NARCassist the reason they stop playing is because their arguments have been destroyed in this fred.
if this was the case you wouldn't need to say it.
a lot of people are posting things they obviously don't personally believe but that doesn't mean their points are baseless.
in short, I'm torn between it being a person's right to be self-destructive but also that a large portion of people cannot be trusted to not let their drug use harm others. on the basis of personal freedoms I support complete legalization, but given that a single person's drug use will statistically affect others I can't fully support it anymore.
The 'drug war' is a racket and must end. like diet said decriminalization is likely the best short term solution, but long-term society will need to stop allowing people to blame their bad behavior on drug use. drugs themselves aren't going anywhere so eventually people will need to learn to use them responsibly or not at all. -

people with high iq just dont use kerambits.
just ask aldra.
nothing wrong with a karambit, it's an effective weapon and the ring makes it less likely you'll lose your grip and drop it. it's possible to injure yourself but that's usually only a problem with inexperienced people trying to spin it and change grip, which you don't need to do.
they're short blades though so they won't help Midge with his reach disadvantage -

They've actually been doing some fun stuff lately. They're opening new fronts in Southern KSA and have been dropping missiles and drones on Saudi airbases and it seems the Patriot batteries they have stationed all over the place aren't able to do anything about it -

no they're typically not, but I suspect they were delivered by drones in this case.

I hope this photo is old and they're not actually using fucking windows to manage their power stations -

Here's something interesting - I've not seen a single media outlet point out that both ships were attacked from the starboard side, ie. the attack came from international waters away from Iran:

yeah, options are limited to affect international consumption anyway.
the argument is that developing countries like China release much more pollution than anywhere else, but fails to take into account that they're not at the stage where they can migrate to 'clean' technologies or that the production of such 'clean' technologies is extremely dirty on the supply end
