She does suck at coding, she says she's full stack web dev but from the work she's done you can tell she only does front-end, and mostly static sites at that.

They were DDoS's IIRC i don't think any data was actually compromised. Personally i think it's good service. Never had a problem with them, their VPN is also good. They have a mode that allow you to connect to i2p servers too and a mode where ou connect to a server that will route your connection from there through the Tor network.
I would recommend just using Tor on your end if you are using it to run utilities and tools more generally. But i thought it's a cool feature regardless.

Pick a programming language and start doing projects. Getting into Python is good if you're a beginner, since it's relatively easy to learn. And since we're in 2020 you don't have to choose which version you're going to be developing with (Spoiler it's 3.x) because 2.7 was shit canned. Which is mildly annoying but i'll cope.
If you can't really think of any projects to get started with, how about learning to use Python to automate your OS? If you're on Windows i'd normally say use PowerShell to automate, but while PowerShell certainly lives up to it's name it's pretty byzantine for a shell scripting language. Not really for a beginner, but that's just my opinion. Plus Python runs on pretty much everything as long as the interpreter is installed.

I have always maintained that people should have to get a license to purchase certain drugs. Cheap class and certification fee, then you can buy a limited amount (just so you don't traffic it.)
Say, 2oz of weed a month or something. A 10 strip of LSD monthly. Etc.
This way it makes it scarce and there are little to no second hand sales.
And if any adult can go and get a reasonable monthly supply, no need for an illegal market.
Available if you're over 18, no limits, however there should be a focus on harm reduction and treating people properly who are self medicating with drugs. So you have the pharmacy log the amount of recreational drugs someone is buying, if it exceeds a certain amount it triggers something that sets the proper care in motion. Seems excessively expensive i know, but i bet if the government were to tax legal drugs they could pay for this no problem.
In Portugal they decriminalized everything and spent the money on care instead of policing it, and as far as i can tell it's working well.

In the UK not so much, aristocracy is woven into the social fabric of the country. You can still hold titles, lands and be given honors by the Monarchy. Here in Holland the only titles that exist are King, Queen, Prince, Princess and Knight. And Knight is the only honor the Monarchy can dash out. Dogs are gross. But i had to put a kitty cat down because she was very sick. Took her to the vet and she died in my gf's arms. A single manly tear left my eye. Then i rejoiced for she has joined all the pets that ever died in the Eternal Hunt in the Sky.
