On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being absolute bullshit, and 10 being legitimate medical condition, I'd rate this one a 2. It's FAR more likely that his pen uses a shitty quality metal for the coil, and that he doesn't change it ever, so he's experiencing the effects of inhaling the sub-quality degrading metal. It's also quite possible he has shitty weed, or even just the regular flu. -

The network adapter and an IDE hard drive will set you back about $15 and give you the full PS2 library, every console released before it via emulation, and most PS1 games are either natively compatible with P.O.P.S Starter or have special versions written for the more popular ones.
