Yeah, big shift, although the original audience has gotten older, there isnt many younger folks.
Most folks go for Discord, Snapchat, w/e.

When I see a site without any public documentation for their code I lose all interest because I know they are clutching onto their technology and will only sell it to the highest bidder.

I just have no interest in something like that. I think this is why skype failed and why TC failed and why nothing will ever replace it. There is no reason we shouldn't be able to have the same capability with a structure more similar to IRC, the technology exists but it's not worth it for anyone to develop because paid solutions like Zoom already exist.

Heard, it could be a few things, could be something about 3rd party agreements, legal shit, TC did get acquired at some point.
This is a lot a work, you are free to do all this for free.
You are free to open source your own code.

Can even submit a pull here:
    https://github.com/Lanny/ISS

Do keep in mind jumpinchat code is up:
    https://github.com/jumpinchat
    Free to run with that.

There are tonne of webrtc documentation out there.
    Tonne of programming resources.

Dont really recall, it was off and on.
But was on there about that time, we prob got mutual frens.
  10. Here’s what to include in your exit bag:

    1. Clothing:
Weather-appropriate layers: Waterproof jacket, thermal layers, or lightweight clothing, depending on your environment.
Sturdy footwear: Durable and comfortable shoes for extended walking.
Extra socks and underwear: Quick-dry materials are best.
Hats and gloves: If you’re expecting cold weather.
    2. Personal Hygiene & Toiletries:
    Toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss
Biodegradable soap and wet wipes for quick clean-ups.
    Hand sanitizer
    Feminine hygiene products (if needed)
    Small towel and comb/brush
    3. Food & Water:
Non-perishable food: High-calorie, lightweight items like energy bars, nuts, and jerky.
Water bottles or a hydration bladder
Portable water enhancement or purification tablets for making any water drinkable.
Small collapsible stove and fuel for cooking if necessary.
    4. Shelter & Sleep:
Emergency bivvy bag or space blanket for warmth.
Compact sleeping bag rated for cold weather.
Small tarp or tent to provide basic shelter.
    5. First Aid & Medication:
Basic first aid kit: Include bandages, antiseptics, pain relievers, and tweezers.
Prescription medications: Pack about a week’s supply of anything you need.
Medical reference card for any allergies or conditions.
    6. Tools & Supplies:
Multi-tool or knife for various tasks (a 5-inch drop point knife would work well).
Fire-starting kit: Waterproof matches, lighter, and tinder.
Flashlight with extra batteries or a hand-crank flashlight
Paracord or rope for versatile use.
Duct tape or repair kit for on-the-go fixes.
Map and compass (or a GPS device).
    Whistle for signaling in emergencies.
    7. Important Documents & Cash:
Copies of ID, passport, and insurance cards in a waterproof case.
Cash in small bills ($200-300 depending on needs).
Credit card if possible for additional emergency resources.
    8. Self-defense & Communication:
Pepper spray or personal alarm for security.
Portable phone charger (solar-powered, if available).
Prepaid phone or walkie-talkies for communication when cell service is unavailable.
    9. Personal Comfort Items (Optional):
    Notebook and pen
Playing cards, small book, or other lightweight entertainment
    Small sewing kit
Packing these items in your exit bag and checking them regularly ensures you're prepared for a quick and efficient exit. This setup will support you through various situations for at least 72 hours.

I do recommend only drinking tap water though, none of that bottled shit.
  11. Originally posted by the man who put it in my hood Memories are meaningless. Nobody even bothered to rip the codebase of TC and upload it on github open source because it's worthless dog water not even worth the 5 minutes to copy it to a flash drive. The storage space will be used for something better and this is a beautiful thing, more beautiful than any shard of the past.

    ja hungry?

No idea why someone thought that would be a good idea, worked completely fine before.

  18. Originally posted by Kafka I don't know if it's for me. I've noticed I have time blindness, space out a lot and sometimes completely forget what my goals are. I feel like I need promts, maybe every few hours, to stick to a timetable and weekly reminders of what my goals are. Idk if I want to share my goals with some stranger though and feel like it could overwhelm them.
