Normal. Most people don't see any need for "friends", and unless you are right on their frequency, they are only interested in what you can offer. Money, connections, jobs, favours, attention, or, if you're female, someone to fuck. Well, having anyone around all of time - all day every day who is not your partner would be annoying AF. So, having non-sexual friends around all day would be awful, but not just because of the lack of sex
I'd say being alone forever is worse.
I'd rather have some platonic friends of the opposite sex that are good to me and a part of my life than being totally alone. Even if I'm not gettin' any.
