Just saw a video CNN posted on FB of an excerpt from a recent interview with 23-year-old Elian Gonzalez. Not really sure what to think of it. I can agree with some of what he had to say about how despite political differences and shit, family is family or whatever, and he seems pretty well-adjusted and happy to be there with his dad. The praise for Fidel was laid on kinda thick. I'm sure my dad would think he's brainwashed or whatever. The whole Cuban side of my family in Miami, and my dad's girlfriend and her sister, think of Fidel Castro as a murderous dictator and felt generally positive about his death.
