when we were teens and during summers or weekends we would buy beer and there were these towers near the warf (still there but they removed the ladders) .. They were some weird art piece but they're these watch tower made out of concrete with ladders you had to stand on someones shoulders or jump up to grab the bottom and we climbed into the towers and drank beer and smoked pot and yell at people passing by. yell retarded rude shit and people would laugh or once in a while some uppity fuck would get angry
we would walk around and just get lost. the place was a gem of a city.
being a liberal was cool people. but somewhere along the line these people became worse than the old republican money that ran San Francisco in the day. they may have been dirty in back deals but they kept that city clean and running. brought it lots of tourist money

Yeah I don't park my car for that very reason cept maybe the Marina district its pretty safe. even decades back in the 1990s our car got broken into twice in a 2 week period. I was pissed because they stole my jacket I had as far back as 1986. a leather jacket. it just fit perfect and I hadn't wore it in years and i found it in a box at my moms house, put it in the back of the car, went into the city and it was too warm to wear and I left it in the back and they smashed the little window on the back door. that is the most expensive window to replace. they opened the door that way. I didn't noticed it until I was on the bridge and heard the wind and looked back and saw all the broken glass. nearly ran into someone.
it has just gotten so fucking bad. people are running up on cars at stop lights and busting back windows. so fucking bold. crack head fucks and gangs that would shoot you if you did shit. not worth dying over.
